Structure bench?

hello, i am new to this game but have thousands of hours in games similar. i was playing last night and was having a tough time collecting sticks. i noticed to the logs say they can be converted to sticks using the "structure bench" but i cant find anything in the crafting menus that is called structure bench. ive watched about 8 hours of youtube videos for "tips and tricks for beginners" or " things i wish i knew before i started MOE" but nothing ive found relates to the breaking down of logs into sticks. i know it's probably something stupid an easy that im just missing but can someone please help me out?

So it's basically like this.
The is a crafting option for the architects bench.
There are 2 Types of Trees; a lot of them are the normal Tress which drop u branches.
The other ones are Palm Trees which Drop Hardwood.
In the architects Bench Hardwood can be crafted into sticks.
Simple as that.
