Will you be able to bind your game to steam?

I purchased the game from the website after it was removed from steam.
When it relaunches will we be able to bind it to steam so we can launch from there?

According to the information released by the devs, yes you will be able to link your account to a Steam account and use the game from Steam Platform.
They did not say if this service would be available at launch.

I hope they get it done by launch because the only reason I quit playing was because I couldn't connect to their servers once they shut down all the US connections and I really don't want to have to use a VPN to play my games

From the latest announcement:

Myth of Empires will close the support for international edition after the full release of the game on Steam on Feb 21. All the saved data including game characters, and Gold Tokens will be transferred to Steam Accounts, cosmetic items will be moved to Steam inventory.

The account transfer webpage will be available after 22:00 Feb 1 UTC, log in to the Myth of Empires official website to start your account transfer.
