Tried to make a private server

hello. i just bought the game a couple days ago. i have been getting nothing but problems when i try to start the game in the launcher at the account log in. i have to click login like 5 times it keeps saying "couldn't resolve host name". another issue im having is i tried to start my own server and ive tried loging in to it like 10 times. it shows up on custom server list but it never lets me join. it did let me join once and i got to the character creation. i put in a name and it wont let me create and play the game. i keep getting this response after it kicks me out. any help would be greatful thanks
