Everyone has a go-to setup that feels unbeatable. For me, my attack heli loadout makes every mission feel cinematic. Strength, precision, and enough firepower to turn tanks into scrap metal — here’s what’s been working for me after weeks of testing.
First things first: rockets are your bread and butter. Standard pods are brilliant for crowd control — wiping out infantry clusters before they can spread. Then come TOW missiles, my favourite for hunting heavily armoured vehicles from a safe distance. It’s immensely satisfying lining up a TOW from half a kilometre away, watching it thread through smoke, and obliterate a tank that thought it was safe.
Pair this with a solid gunner setup. I make sure my gunner has versatile loadouts, ideally something like a high-DPS chain gun for mid-range suppression. The synergy between pilot and gunner is what turns you from nuisance to nightmare. If you’ve got coordination, every engagement becomes surgical.
Setting-wise, I never touch 100 FOV and below — too narrow. At 110, you can spot enemy tracers earlier and sense threats like incoming jets or SAM sites. The “War Tapes” audio mix? That’s not just for immersion — it genuinely helps you hear missile warnings better amid combat noise. You can react faster, sometimes just enough to launch flares or bail before the explosion hits.
Flying itself is all about discipline. Avoid hovering unless absolutely necessary. Use terrain like cover — ridgelines, skyscrapers, even bridges. I’ve survived runs purely by ducking behind cliffs after dumping rockets. The joy, though, comes when you swing low through city canyons, dodging fire and lining up precision strikes. That’s where Battlefield 6 feels alive — an adrenaline symphony no other game quite nails.
My advice? Don’t be afraid to experiment. The meta shifts constantly. Some weeks, guided rockets feel strong, other weeks, proximity missiles take the lead. Adjust, practice, and adapt. Once you find the combo that feels right, the skies are yours to command.
